A Miami-Dade man known as “Yunglazz Drakula” livestreamed himself rapping about how he scams people through identity theft, according to police. But investigators said they were watching ― and a raid of his home Thursday revealed a gun, drugs and animals used for Santería sacrifices.Leer en españolThe arrest of “Yunglazz Drakula” ― whose real name is Lazaro Lesteiro-Diaz ― came as the result of a joint investigation between Miami police, Miami-Dade deputies and the FBI.And it’s not the 26-year-old’s first time in the news.Fraud investigationAn arrest report ― which lists Lesteiro-Diaz‘s occupation as “rap-fraudster” ― first describes a June 17 video in which he‘s ”seen holding a laptop with money on it and a headset/mic on his head commonly used by fraudsters/scammers as he raps a song in Spanish."Investigators said Lesteiro-Diaz rapped, “I called you from a Bank of America number. Ima boof a plot.”“That means ‘I’m going to take your money...I’m going to access your bank account and (you’re) giving me your code, everything over the phone and I won’t even touch you,’” a detective with the Miami Police Department explained in the arrest report.Then, police said on July 6, Lesteiro-Diaz livestreamed himself rapping again, displaying a gun, large amounts of cash, and a laptop.Authorities said he then flipped the camera to show personal information belonging to “multiple victims” and described “how he commits organized fraud and spoofing schemes.”Then came the “purple drank.”Police said Lesteiro-Diaz flashed a bottle of the promethazine codeine cough syrup, used as an illegal drug, as he walked around his kitchen.On Tuesday, police said he posted a video “in a bathroom and flashing multiple debit/credit/gift cards while concealing a suspected firearm that has an extended magazine.” The sink had a “wad” of cash on it.Police raidOn Thursday, one day after a judge signed a search warrant, police, deputies and the FBI raided his home in the 11200 block of Southwest 43rd Lane in the county’s unincorporated Westwood Lakes area.There, they said they found a gun, magazines, a “Drakula” diamond chain, a diamond watch, baby bottles with suspected “purple drank,” cash and a call center headset.
