Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is on track to start Sunday's upcoming game against the Chicago Bears, provided he experiences no setbacks during the week's practices.
Penix sustained a rib injury during the team's Week 5 overtime loss to Baltimore. Despite the injury, team indications suggest he will remain under center for the matchup against the Bears, though his official game-day status remains subject to change based on his physical progress throughout the week.
