Michigan House candidate says he left Democratic Socialists of America to 'unite' district

Progressive House candidate Will Lawrence, a Democrat running in Michigan’s battleground 7th District, announced on Wednesday that he allowed his membership in the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) to lapse within the past month.

Lawrence explained that the decision to let his membership lapse was driven by a desire to focus on uniting swing voters within the competitive district.
