Mideast live: Oil tanker struck by projectile in Strait of Hormuz off Oman

An oil tanker was struck and disabled by a projectile in the Strait of Hormuz off the coast of Oman early Tuesday. According to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), the incident caused damage to the vessel, but no casualties were reported among the crew.
