Migration transforms the training of its agents

The General Directorate of Migration in the Dominican Republic has overhauled its recruitment, selection, and training protocols for its agents. Vice Admiral Luis Rafael Lee Ballester, the director general, announced the initiative, noting that the changes are intended to modernize the institution's internal processes.

The primary objective of this transformation is to enhance the operational capabilities of the agency. By refining how agents are vetted and trained, the institution aims to improve the effectiveness and oversight of national migration control operations.
