Hundreds of migrants are building makeshift huts with reeds, plastic and cardboard on Trampolín beach in Ceuta while they wait for a solution to their situation

Approximately two hundred migrants have established an informal settlement on the Trampolín beach in Ceuta, constructing shelters from materials such as reeds, plastic, and cardboard. The encampment has expanded significantly over the past week, growing from roughly a dozen structures to a larger settlement as individuals wait for a resolution to their status.

On Sunday, residents of the encampment held a spontaneous demonstration to publicly demand their right to asylum. Participants gathered at the site to voice their claims, marking an escalation in the visibility of the group's situation as they remain situated on the beach.
