Celta midfielder Miguel Román will undergo an arthroscopic surgery after medical examinations conducted on Tuesday revealed he has a loose articular body in his right knee. The Galician club announced the diagnosis and the subsequent surgical intervention through a press statement.

Following the procedure, the player is expected to be sidelined from athletic activities for a recovery period lasting between four and six weeks. The announcement was reported from Vigo.
