Completion of rural road network in Wapenamanda District

The Lokaipiles to Timin Valley rural road network in the Wapenamanda local level government area of Papua New Guinea has been successfully completed. Initiated originally as a pilot tract by the Wapenamanda District Development Authority, the infrastructure project connects previously isolated local communities directly to the main Highlands Highway.

The completion of this rural road network is expected to improve accessibility and integration for the region's residents. By linking remote areas to major transport routes, the project addresses long-standing isolation issues within the Wapenamanda District.
