Housing Minister does not rule out water rationing in Lima and announces the cleaning of more than 10 kilometers of riverbeds in anticipation of El Niño

Peruvian Minister of Housing Mauricio Arnillas has stated that water rationing in Lima remains a possibility due to the potential impact that rains associated with the El Niño phenomenon could have on the city's water supply sources.

In response to these weather-related threats, the minister also announced the upcoming cleaning of more than 10 kilometers of riverbeds and water channels as a preventive measure to mitigate the risks posed by the approaching phenomenon.
