The leaders of a Mississippi city unanimously voted to fire its police chief following the fatal police shooting of one-year-old Kohen Wiley earlier this year. The incident occurred in June when officers responded to a shoplifting call.

Senatobia Police Chief Harold Vanderford was fired on Tuesday. He submitted his resignation the same day, but the city's board of aldermen declined to accept it, opting instead to vote on his termination.
