Mizuho’s first female wealth manager head seeks sixfold growth

Tomoko Hama has been appointed as the first female head of wealth management at Mizuho, marking a historic leadership milestone for the company. In her new role, she is tasked with scaling the value of client assets under advisement to more than ¥100 billion.

To achieve this objective, Hama has outlined an aggressive growth target, seeking a sixfold expansion in assets over a five-year period.
