MLB: Juan Soto returns after a 31-game absence

Major League Baseball star Juan Soto has been activated from the injured list by the New York Mets after missing 31 consecutive games due to a calf injury, according to an announcement made by the team on Saturday.

Following his return, Soto is immediately inserted back into the Mets' active lineup, where he will serve as the designated hitter and bat second in the batting order.
