Months-long $1m in unpaid rates saga ends with sale of 33 outback homes

Thirty-three outback properties in Mount Isa, owned by an Aboriginal housing corporation, have been sold, bringing an end to a months-long dispute involving one million dollars in unpaid rates.

The unpaid-rates saga had previously left dozens of Mount Isa residents facing an uncertain future regarding their housing stability.
