More explosions reported in Iran, two children wounded by US strike in Qeshm Island

United States military forces conducted a series of airstrikes on Qeshm Island in Iran’s Hormozgan province, resulting in civilian casualties. According to reports from the Fars news agency and local officials, the strikes hit a residential home, killing three people, including a toddler. Additionally, two children were reported wounded in the incident. Further explosions were subsequently heard in the city of Ahvaz, located in the neighboring Khuzestan province.

The U.S. military stated that these operations were carried out as a retaliatory measure following attacks on American military bases in Jordan. Ahmad Nafisi, the deputy governor of Hormozgan for politics, and the Director General of Crisis Management for the province have confirmed the impact of the strikes on the local population.
