Morocco’s Authenticity and Modernity Party wins parliamentary election

The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) secured the highest number of seats in Morocco’s parliamentary elections, winning 97 of the 395 available seats in the House of Representatives. The final results were confirmed by the Moroccan Interior Ministry on Friday.

The party, which holds a significant role in the legislative body, was founded by a royal adviser with close ties to King Mohammed VI. This electoral outcome marks a notable development in the country’s political landscape.
