Movements are calling for the inclusion of the environmental and industrial crisis in southern Venezuela in the dialogue with the government.

On August 11, at least seven organizations formally requested that the opposition commission involved in the dialogue with the Venezuelan government address the environmental, industrial, and humanitarian crisis in the state of Bolívar. The dialogue process is currently being facilitated with support from the United States.
