MP order closure of girls’ ablution block at Mpongwe boarding school

Mpongwe West Member of Parliament Emmanuel Kasambo has ordered the immediate closure of the girls' ablution block at Mpongwe Boarding Secondary School. The decision follows a visit to the school, during which the parliamentarian identified a lack of a functional water reticulation system at the facility.

According to the official directive, the compromised sanitation infrastructure at the boarding school has created conditions that pose a serious health risk to the students using the facility.
