KINGSTON, Jamaica — Mount Pleasant FA have drawn a bye to the quarterfinals of the 2026 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Shield after their first round opponents All Saints United of Antigua and Barbuda withdrew from the tournament that is being staged in Trinidad and Tobago. Mount Pleasant, the reigning Concacaf Caribbean Cup champion and who finished third in the Jamaica Premier League are playing in the CFU competition for the first time. Finalists in the CFU Club Shield will qualify for the Concacaf Caribbean Cup where they would join JPL finalists Portmore United and Cavalier SC.
Mount Pleasant will now await the winner of Saturday’s game between Weymouth Wales (Barbados) and SV Britannia (Aruba) in the next round in the quarterfinals set for Tuesday.
