Female taxi driver accused of drugging and kidnapping an elderly man in Huancayo: she demanded S/15,000 for his release

A 63-year-old man was rescued by the Peruvian National Police from a hotel room in the center of Huancayo, Junín. The operation followed a report from the victim's daughter, who stated she had received a demand for S/15,000 in exchange for her father's release.

Authorities have accused a female taxi driver of orchestrating the kidnapping and drugging of the victim. The investigation into the incident is currently ongoing as law enforcement processes the evidence gathered at the scene.
