Multiple people dead as flooding continues in Indiana

Multiple fatalities have been reported following severe flooding in Indiana that began on August 11. Over a three-day period, certain regions of the state experienced more than 11 inches of rainfall, resulting in record-breaking water levels.

Several suburbs surrounding Indianapolis have been submerged as a result of the deluge. The ongoing weather event has caused significant infrastructure impact and loss of life across the affected areas.
