NASD appoints Arese Ugwu as acting MD, nine years after SEC suspension

The NASD has appointed Arese Ugwu as its acting managing director. The appointment comes nine years after a prior suspension involving her role in the capital market.

Specifically, Ms. Ugwu was previously among the directors of Partnership Investment Company. That firm faced a five-year suspension within the capital market by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
