‘National Treasure 3’ Is “Finally Real” and “We Have a Script,” Director Says

Director statements indicate that a third installment in the 'National Treasure' franchise is officially in development and possesses a completed script.

The upcoming film follows two preceding Disney movies released in 2004 and 2007, which starred Nicolas Cage in the lead role of treasure hunter Ben Gates.
