NDR 2026: Significantly lower childcare, infant care fees at government-supported preschools by 2030

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced that government-supported preschools will significantly lower childcare and infant care fees by the year 2030.

The policy forms part of the announcements made during the National Day Rally (NDR) 2026. According to the Prime Minister, absorbing a larger portion of childcare and preschool costs represents one of the most effective investments the government can make.
