Nearly 86,000 people flee fighting in Yemen, UN says

Renewed fighting between government forces and the Houthis in Yemen has forced nearly 86,000 people to flee their homes, according to a Sunday statement from the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The displacement figure increased by approximately 10,000 individuals in a single day.

In addition to the mass displacement, a separate report has documented more than 900 rights violations following the entry of Houthi forces into newly captured cities located along Yemen's western coast.
