A white peacock known affectionately as Sugar is recovering after home security video appeared to show a U.S. Postal Service employee throwing an object at the bird and later striking him with a stick or club in a Pasadena neighborhood. The footage has prompted investigations by postal officials and local animal-control authorities, NBC Los Angeles reported.
