Nepal began burying hundreds of bodies after the avalanche that left at least 903 dead and more than 4,200 missing.

Nepal has reported a death toll of 903 people, with an additional 4,247 individuals listed as missing, following a severe and devastating flash flood. The disaster struck areas in the northern and central regions of the country on the preceding Wednesday.

The updated casualty and missing persons figures were released on Monday by the National Authority for Disaster Reduction and Management in Kathmandu.
