New 5 - acre fire , The Narrows , burning in scar of 2020 Riverside Fire in Clackamas County

A 5-acre wildfire, designated as the Narrows Fire, is currently burning near the Clackamas River in Clackamas County. The fire is located within the burn scar of the 2020 Riverside Fire, an area characterized by standing dead trees known as snags.

U.S. Forest Service officials are actively managing the incident. Response efforts have included the deployment of a large Type 1 helicopter to drop water on the blaze to assist in containment.
