(KRON) -- Firefighters are battling a grass fire that sparked off of Northbound 680, south of Sunol and Castlewood. The Alameda County Fire Department tells KRON4 the fire started as vehicle fire that spread to nearby vegetation around 3:11 p.m. The fire has closed two lanes on I-680 northbound.
