New robot helps Israeli surgeons crush kidney stones without the splash

Surgeons in Israel are utilizing a new robotic system designed to perform kidney stone procedures with improved precision and reduced fluid dispersion. The technology aims to streamline the surgical process while maintaining patient safety during stone fragmentation.

Beyond this robotic advancement, Israel has also adopted a separate, more advanced method for treating kidney stones. This newer technology is currently available in only approximately 11 countries worldwide, positioning Israel among a select group of nations providing this specialized medical capability.
