NFIU, patners seek financial intelligence sharing collaboration framework

The Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) and various partners have convened a meeting to establish a joint financial intelligence collaboration framework (JFIC). The initiative aims to enhance the sharing of financial intelligence among key stakeholders.

The gathering brought together a broad cross-section of industry participants, including regulators, traditional banks, insurance companies, fintech firms, Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), and technology companies. These stakeholders are working collaboratively to shape and finalize the parameters of the new framework.
