Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers stated on Friday that the NFL would have cancelled its scheduled regular-season game in Paris if ongoing mass protests rendered the situation unsafe.

The Steelers and the New Orleans Saints are slated to play at the Stade de France, located in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis.
