NHC: Tropical Storm Isaias forms in the Gulf, expected to rapidly strengthen

Tropical Storm Isaias forms in the Gulf and is expected to rapidly strengthen over the next few days, the National Hurricane Center announced. "Rapid strengthening is forecast over the next day or two, and Isaias is expected to become a hurricane by Thursday," according to the NHC's 5 a.m.
