NHIF urges farmers to insure against medical costs

The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) in Dodoma, Tanzania, has issued a formal appeal for farmers and the general public to enroll in health insurance schemes. The initiative aims to provide financial protection against unexpected medical costs, which can otherwise lead to the liquidation of personal assets, including agricultural land.
