Nicaragua excarcela a 1.500 presos comunes con motivo de las Fiestas Patrias

The Government of Nicaragua released 1,500 common prisoners with firm sentences on Monday to live under a family coexistence regime in their homes. The mass excarceration was carried out in observance of the country's Fiestas Patrias.

Those released were granted the legal benefit of returning to their households as part of the official holiday measures.
