The UIF is investigating the finances of “El Tío”, identified as an operator for a cell of ‘Los Chapitos’

The Mexican Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) is currently investigating the financial activities of Ricardo “N”, known by the alias “El Tío”. Federal authorities have identified him as a primary operator for a criminal cell associated with the group known as “Los Chapitos”.

The investigation focuses on the financial operations linked to the individual's alleged criminal activities. This probe is part of ongoing government efforts to track and dismantle the financial networks supporting the faction connected to the sons of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
