Noboa decrees a new state of emergency and formalizes a nighttime curfew in Ecuador

Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa has decreed a new 60-day state of exception covering eight provinces and three municipalities across the country. As part of the decree, the government officially established a nightly curfew set to run from September 17 through September 30.
