A new tropical wave will approach this Thursday

The Instituto Dominicano de Meteorología (Indomet) has announced that a new tropical wave is expected to approach the Dominican Republic this Thursday. The arrival of this weather system will coincide with the strengthening of a trough, which is forecast to generate rainfall of varying intensity across several regions of the country.

Meteorological authorities indicate that the precipitation is expected to be most frequent in the province of La Vega. Residents in affected areas are advised to monitor official updates as the weather conditions develop.
