New Penal Code: the 43 modifications that transform justice in the Dominican Republic

Law 74-25, establishing the Dominican Republic's new Penal Code, enters into force on Monday, August 3, in accordance with Article 393 of the legislation.

Alongside the main code, the modifying law takes effect simultaneously under Article 30. An exception is made for corporate criminal liability, the application of which has been deferred by three months.
