New Cesfront director oversees border security

Major General Enrique Trujillo has assumed his role as the new director general of the Specialized Land Border Security Corps (Cesfront) in the Dominican Republic. Following his appointment, he conducted an inspection tour of various military bases located along the border region to assess current security operations.

During this initial oversight visit, Trujillo was accompanied by the new director of Intelligence of the Joint Staff of the Ministry of Defense. The tour serves as part of the transition and operational assessment for the new leadership within the country's border security apparatus.
