(KRON) -- The Oakland Roots Soccer Club has defaulted on $1.4 million that is owed to the Oakland Coliseum, KRON4 has confirmed. A representative with the Oakland Coliseum Joint Powers Authority told KRON4 that the Roots had been sent a notice of default last Friday, July 17 and had five days to respond.
