Veracruz registers a 4.1 magnitude earthquake in Sayula de Alemán

Two separate seismic events were recorded in Mexico on August 27. The first occurred at 04:08 hours in Matías Romero, Oaxaca, with a magnitude of 4.1. A second earthquake of the same magnitude was registered later that morning at 05:31 hours in Sayula de Alemán, Veracruz.

Both tremors were reported by the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN). The Oaxaca event was located 13 kilometers southeast of the municipality, while the Veracruz event was centered 52 kilometers southwest of the city.
