NewzThe Oceans Calling Festival, a three-day music event in Ocean City, Maryland, was canceled Friday as weather conditions worsened due to an incoming nor’easter. In a statement posted on the event’s website, organizers said tides, floods and high winds prevented the safe build out of the festival. “Following the advice of the National Weather Service and in cooperation with local public officials, we must make the difficult decision to cancel Oceans Calling 2026,” the statement read.

The three-day music festival was set to start Friday and continue through Sunday, with headliners such as Dave Matthews Band, Hootie and the Blowfish, Twenty-One Pilots, Gwen Stefani, Mumford and Sons and Matchbox Twenty. However, organizers announced on Thursday that it had canceled Friday’s acts as the nor’easter moved up the coast.
All ticket types purchased directly through Front Gate Tickets will be fully and automatically refunded within 30 days, the statement read.
