SAN DIEGO — San Diego County health officials are asking anyone who may have had direct contact with a bat that later tested positive for rabies to seek medical care after the animal unexpectedly landed on a family’s table inside a Vista restaurant, The New York Post reported. Authorities are also trying to locate the family involved to determine whether preventive treatment is necessary.
