Mexico City will install a monumental 32-meter Catrina figure in the capital's Zócalo as the central piece of the Ofrenda Monumental for Day of the Dead 2026. The initiative aims to break the Guinness World Record for the tallest figure of its kind in the world.

In addition to the record-breaking centerpiece, the celebration will feature various free activities for the public during the traditional holiday.
