I am 80 years old and have never missed an election since becoming eligible in the ’60s. In the “Old Days,” a candidate for any office would campaign on why, how and what they would do if elected; sadly, those days are gone. One major office that really sticks out is that for Ohio governor.
We have not heard much of the how, why and what from either major-party candidate, but I must point out one -- the Vivek Ramaswamy campaign. In the last six or so weeks, I have actually seen him in only two substantive commercials -- one on reducing food costs, the other on reducing healthcare costs.
