ILO proposes ways for Peru to facilitate access to social security for domestic workers

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has presented recommendations to Peru regarding pathways to facilitate social security access for domestic workers. The announcement was made in Lima on September 7.

According to an ILO report, domestic workers in Peru continue to face significant difficulties in securing social security coverage. These obstacles are primarily driven by specific labor modalities, such as hourly work and multi-employment, where individuals work for multiple employers simultaneously.
