An oil tanker that was struck by multiple explosions in early June and subsequently ran aground off the coast of Oman has sunk further into the water, according to satellite imagery reported by the Associated Press.

The vessel, identified as part of the Russian shadow fleet, has leaked a significantly increased amount of crude oil into the surrounding sea as its condition has worsened.
