One dead, 102 rescued from Indonesian ferry that went missing in Java Sea

A ferry identified as the Virgo Transport 8 went missing in the Java Sea while carrying 243 passengers and crew. Following the loss of contact with the vessel's operator, search and rescue teams were deployed to the area.
