One Hungarian among 261 foreigners missing on Tibetan side after devastating Nepal floods

Following devastating floods and landslides in Nepal, the death toll continues to rise while hundreds of individuals remain missing across the border on the Tibetan side. Chinese authorities have reported that a total of 261 foreign nationals originating from 23 different countries are currently unaccounted for in the disaster zone.

Among the missing foreign nationals is one Hungarian citizen. The inclusion of the Hungarian national has drawn specific regional attention to the broader international casualty and missing persons count resulting from the cross-border weather catastrophe.
