Political party One Nation is set to establish its new headquarters in a multimillion-dollar Brisbane office building recently purchased by billionaire mining figure Gina Rinehart. The party will lease the space from Rinehart's company at commercial rates.

The arrangement has drawn public defense from Nationals figure Barnaby Joyce, who supported the move. The development also coincides with historical media focus on One Nation's past electoral success and subsequent decline in Queensland during the late 1990s.
